Vacation Time

After FE has come to an end .....I actually have nothing to do !!!!Except checking different sites & exploring the net ;) I am actually missing the enormous amount of tension i had while the sem was on,college life(though i hv only a few frndz out there) &  my crazy batch out there !!!.......

I am absolutely clueless about my results!!!

Special Semester !

SEM 2

This was a real special semester for me.....coz of meeting two real contrasting characters :

PHASE 1:

If u r a TSECite u know who exactly KS is....!!! ;) (If u don't then read on ...)

The first time u sit in that lecture hall u will come to know that someone actually has done a deeeeeeeep study into Communication Skills !

A subject which i found completely useless as an F.E!!!

CS basically is how people's expressions,gestures, body language,"APPEARANCE",SILENCE... wat not kinda crap can affect ur communication in day to day life !

APPEARANCE: It took a new meaning in CS ! In CS "appearance" means a complete formal look!

As though a first interview !!!

As the saying goes"First impression is the last impression"!!! One of r topics in the GD with KS!!! The amount of TENSION this female can give u is unimaginable !She wont let u enter in a class even if ur late by a nanosecond !!

As a CS teacher she VALUES TIME and all that...but still like late even for a second & not allowed!!:( (After climbing 5 floors coz TSEC lifts barely come when u need dem d most actually they never come !!!! ehhh.....)

I heaved a sigh of relief after CS submissions !!!!!

BUT Ms.KS made us realize that all these stuff do affect our life!!

Phase2:

I hated C++ in sem 1.....

Programming can be very difficult if we try mugging & understanding requires lot of time, patience & d most important INTEREST(& we have none in FE atleast) !

And in engg with the pressure of clearing subjects....came a new programming language 'JAVA'& a new teacher "GARGI SHAH"(GS)!

I thought she might be like any other stupid engg teacher in TSEC.....who knows her subject but can't explain & just working for a monthly salary(Exceptions excluded) !!!!

BUT she was a completely different personality ! One of the rare ones i have met so far !

She changed my view to engg & programming completely ! Keeps smiling all the time !! :)

She started teaching from scratch..like wats a PC & all that....

Initially the class thought that it was stupid & then we realized that it was for our own gud ...it made concepts crystal clear !!!!

She taught us in such a way that the class developed a kind of interest in java no actually PROGRAMMING !

The basics of any computer language r the same ......and she taught us those IMPORTANT basics ! In the lab she saw to it that, everyone understood the concepts & got the output(for which my batch dats A2 would make her go mad by chanting the word "ma'am")!

Lectures had suddenly become interesting,FUN & over crowded !!!

The full class was in love with JAVA & each one of us expecting her in r next & higher

semesters !!!...& then came a bad news that she is leaving TSEC!

That was really bad ! She had just come for an experience in teaching i guess ! She did a FABULOUS job.....& d most important made us take interest in programming !

THANK YOU for teaching us soo well ma'am.............

I have never liked programming like this before & hope to continue the liking!!!!

This brings me to the end of two contrasting characters of sem 2!

Combined with the tension from KS & fun with JAVA ...it was an interesting semester!
