Try try n try

College life is sure the best life one can have...especially in an engineering college...which consists of a lot of JHOLS!!The last year comes and u get all excited and nostalgic to attend every college event...not miss a thing...enjoy to the fullest...have full dhamaal! On campus placements too come into the picture...4 years of work(can't say hard work :P ) finally paying off...each classmate in competition with you..you sit with all determination to crack those rounds and in a number of companies...waiting eagerly for the results...AND finally the result day comes...and u are PLACED!! Its like the best feeling one can ever have !!College gets over and u wait for your joining into the company...waiting for the transition of college to corporate !!

Suddenly out of the blue you come to know that the joining has been delayed...it crashes u down mentally and emotionally...all that to-do-list-of-your-first salary comes on a hold...so so bad...you start cursing the company...the college and what not that comes to your mind !! Then you start searching for jobs off campus...and you realize that...life outside college is so difficult !!You try n try n just keep trying...for a decent enough job to support your living...Every place has a cut throat competition...its like a never ending race...a rat race..(My classmates who have started working tell me that life in an MNC is nothing more than a dog's life!) Although i haven't started working...but i do connect to my classmates thoughts !! It sure is a RAT RACE..to earn more..to be on top....n blah blah..

The free time that i got after college and by Date Of Joining getting postponed..i tried teaching to poor BMC children on the roadside(aaganwadi)..it was a wonderful feeling...the satisfaction after teaching was immense..(passing on the knowledge, talking to them)..and its really amazing to see their grasping power of things...i taught thinking that it would be a good time pass...but now i actually feel that one should do some social work in one's life...it takes our mind off the RAT RACE!!

But you can't ignore the rat race completely..after all..our living depends on it ...so i continue applying for jobs...n i hope i get a decent one soon!

Love,dosti,Relationships!

A few phases in a relationship
  • unknowns
  • meet through common friends
  • that crush feeling(butterflies in stomach when that person talks to you)
  • start talking,sharing,gossiping
  • become best-est of friends(the best phase)
  • ask out
  • the RELATIONSHIP begins(extended friendship)
  • start caring a LOT(you actually start loving the person)
  • all the lovie dovie stuff starts(cards, flowers, surprises, picture sessions..and the list goes on & on)
  • the relation continues for a while
  • then THE REALITY CREEPS IN
  • quarrel begin on petty things and end with a sweet SORRY
  • later those same quarrels turn into big fights
  • start losing interest in the relation
  • ultimately BREAK UP
  • back to being UNKNOWNS or some still stay as friends
This is the cycle of a relationship in a metro city like MUMBAI...it starts and ends with being UNKNOWNS...If we don't have the time and the patience to get into a relation..you should never get into one..FRIENDSHIP is really  THE BEST relation in the world that we make ourselves..

KARMA

In today's highly competitive & mean world, the value of karma is gone high up..For me as a student just graduating...what is THE most important

Success,Karma or praying ???

Success, money, a lavish lifestyle has become so important in today's world that we forget that there ARE things higher than them too.Which fool has made this dogmatic statement that the sole purpose of life is money ???Yes,Money is one of the most basic necessity in life..but there are things like family, friends, relationships, etc that have their own importance and impact in our life. They JUST can't be replaced by anything!ANYTHING

For elders,Praying is reading all kinds of Holy books, chanting for long hours..etc..But the actual sense of praying for me is being THANKFUL to that super power for the life HE has given you.Thankful for giving us elders who have spent their entire life on upbringing us.. sacrificed so much, that we just can't describe it in words.Reading Holy books doesn't show that you are actually thankful..what shows that you are thankful and indebted to them is the way you behave with them..those little things you do everyday..they count so much..

As the definition of Karma goes on Wikipedia,Karma in Indian religions is the concept of "action" or "deed",understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect. As the saying goes.."What goes around, comes around"...Like gravity,Karma is so basic that we often don't even notice it.

The joy of celebrating your success is with your loved ones....what is the point in having loads of money & no near ones to celebrate it with??I would rather prefer a less money and more dear ones to celebrate by success in life & will try my best to stick to the good karma in life. All 3 have their own value in their own sense..a combination of all 3 is required in each one's life.

The LAST semester!

OMG..i have a JOB..i have become big..i m gonna earn "my own" money soon and the best part
"I AM AN ENGINEER!"
FREAK..i still can't believe it..How time goes by...and how so 'vella' people like me can also become engineers some day!My parents always use to tell me.."ki tujhe kuch nahi aata betaa"..they still do that actually...(that's their duty i guess :P).
When u have loads of free time..you start analyzing life..those times when u start thinking..'what would life be if that would have happened or would not have happened??' what if u wouldn't have a met a particular person or if u had not taken that decision at that time??'Analyzing the things that changed my life in a major way...i realize that they just happened 'by chance'...you know that luck factor..that kinda thing..Many believe a lot in the "LUCK FACTOR"..but to turn the things your way..that is the most that matters..and that cannot happen by luck..it requires a lot of hard work with a little pinch of luck!
In engineering LUCK matters a LOTTTTTTTT for eg:
  • getting a 40 in a subject which you were sure to flunk in!
  • Getting easy questions in vivas
  • getting easy projects
I am in my last semester of engineering, but little memories like playing games in computer labs, attending boring lectures, making plans to roam after college, seeing the result of each semester with hundreds of students staring & climbing over the result board, etc are gonna stay with me forever..(i hope many more to come in the next few months ;) ) [I still cannot believe that i am gonna be an ENGINEER in the next 5 months OMG!]
